Just a straight conversion to JPG from DNG. No contrast adjustment, no sharpening nothing. Not even cropped.

I've posted edited versions of two of these in the past. These are all the default, unedited settings. the power lines have not been removed and they are un-cropped.

.

I have never understood when people say that digital images HAVE TO be edited in order to look good. Sure, the file needs to be processed; transformed from RAW to a file format that is compatible with viewing and transferring from one medium to another. But they don't have to be edited to make them look different - at least not if the photographer shoots them properly in the first place.

Here is a photo of my favorite subject - a Whitetail Deer.
The posted image has been slightly cropped - I removed a little off the bottom of the image to make it a 5:7 aspect ratio, so that it would fit onto folk's computer monitors better and allow for better viewing.
The uncropped version is posted directly beneath it in a smaller size, just so that I can technically conform to the OP's rules of "no editing whatsoever".

By the way, I see "editing" as being a totally different thing that the automated processing that takes place when we download our photos into a specific program on our computer.
Of course, all images are, technically, "processed" in some fashion; but not all images are "edited".

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
