The trash can was located against a large concrete support column. I guess that's why they were freaking. With a smile on my face, I showed them my shots and suggested that a blatantly open, obvious person like me is probably the least of their worries, rather it's the guy over there behind the bushes with the concealed camera that you should be worried about.

At the end of the day, if a bad guy wants to get images, he will find a way.

It's called the stratosphere. I had the priviledge of inspecting the tracks on the roller coaster when I worked out there about ten years ago. I have to say the wynn / encore turned out nice. I worked up to about the 3rd floor on that also.
