I'd like opinions of which picture works better. Does the extra color detract from the subjects?

Heya,

#2 to me. The profiles are the same, regardless, and nearly blacked out. More color doesn't distract at all. It enhances it in my opinion.

Thanks. I agree, but other's thoughts are always useful. I think it's a classic father & son shot. Nothing special, but a beach realtor wants to use it, so the price is her buying me a seafood dinner.
