Here is the bright orange polypore fungus Pycnoporus coccineus. This is the underside with the tiny pores. The diameter of this specimen was about 15mm.

a mould growing on Swan poop at my workshop.
I was amazed at how quickly it grew. Didn't have an appropriate lens and would have loved to been able to grab a macro shot.
