I'm curious about the first two images, as I note the small aperture, yet the beautiful bokeh, and separation of subject from the background. Is that a characteristic of that lens, or to do with the distance of subject from the lens, or other factors?

Thanks
rose

This is a 10 frame Focus Bracketing stack, using the built-in FB function of the EOS R5.

Taken in the Lamington National Park, Aligned and Stacked in PS CC.

Cheers

Dennis

EDIT: taken with the RF 100mm F2.8L IS USM Macro lens (not yet in database).

Here is another Focus Bracketing stack processed in PS CC.

I noticed the stack began to droop, an indication that the tripod feet were slowly sinking into the loose, soft soil around the rotten log.:-)

Cheers

Dennis

This one took a stack of 20 frames, to extend the DOF from front to back.

Taken in the Lamington National Park.

Cheers

Dennis.

NOTE: taken with the RF 100mm F2.8L IS USM Macro lens (not yet in database).
