The Tamron went to the factory twice, and both time came back unsatisfactory. On the third time they said that there was absolutely no problem with the lens, and I was still unhappy. Only after buying the 70D and MFA'ing it to -11 it became practically perfect. I think that third party lenses have more problems with AF, that is the sense I get in the forums. Gerry
