I posted a FS thread for a pocket tripod, meant to be used with an iPhone. It was deleted with no communication to me. I'm aware of the restrictions of selling iDevices, but I'm not getting the application of that policy to an accessory used for photography with an iPhone.

I'm hoping a mod can give me some clarity on this. Thanks.

When an accessory is only for a phone (like a charger is), then it is a phone accessory, not camera equipment or camera accessory.

Sorry, I mistakenly thought that the iPhone was being legitimately used as a camera.

This was my mistake, I should have sent you a PM regarding your violation of this rule:NO PHONES, IPADS OR OTHER TABLETS . I thought it would be self evident that if Phones are not considered photo equipment in the MarketPlace then Phone accessories would also not qualify as Photo equipment.

So what about the various add-on lenses for phones? None of those are allowed? Not even the Sony products, just because they are for use on a phone?

I certainly get not wanting to have folks clogging the Classifieds selling phones, but things that are photographic accessories really make sense to me. I understand that I don't have a vote here, but it really seems like something worth considering.

At this point neither phones nor their accessories are appropriate for the MarketPlace. If you can use your 1DX to order a pizza then we will talk ;)

I'd like double pepperoni. Just don't tell my wife or heart doctor. Sigh...okay, I'll take a salad. With pepperoni.
