Hi
Further to my question yesterday. I own Canon S95 and S110. I have always used Zoombrowser EX which came with the S95. It downloaded pics/movies no problem but when I put my SD card from my S110 into my PC the movie file did not show up in Zoombrowser download box.

I have loaded ImageBrowser EX onto my PC as well as Zoombrowser and when I put the S110 card in the Zoombrowser EX window opens and as the pics/movies start to download it switches to ImageBrowser and shows the downloads.

The trouble is that when I then use Zoombrowser to view my movie files there is no shooting info on the movie file even though a movie file taken with the S95 alongside it shows everything.

I know this seems very complicated but I thought all pics/movies taken with Canon cameras would be compatible with all their viewing software. I prefer using Zoombrowser as I cant get on with ImageBrowser at all

Thankyou for any assistance

Well, newer editions of Canon cameras require newer editions of their software, which are backwards-compatible. Unfortunately, it's not possible to design forward-compatible software, since you don't know what's going to be coming along 3 or 4 years down the road. If you go here (external link), you can get the latest versioons of software for your S95.
