Critique my photo of a child on the street.

Cute kid. Nice expression. But...

Did you add the reddish cast? Can't say I like it. The shot is noisy and has low contrast. These might be okay if it was intentional, personal style being what it is. Who can argue? The disembodied adult hand should be cropped out. But then he'd be looking out the edge of the image, which is not so good. It would also be good to get rid of the leg in the background. I was about to suggest that the thing on the left is distraction. But the "eyes" are looking right at him in a weird way, which is pretty cool. Lastly, the cardinal rule of pictures of kids is to get down to their eye level. It's probably the biggest mistake that parents make.

EXIF states ISO 3200

The reddish cast is very distracting and the noise could have been handled better. Exif states he owns a 550d which has the same sensor as mine (7D). Here is a recent pic of a model of mine at 3200 ISO, handheld, using the NIK software.

Yes high iso! It was already dark by 5+, was at Lucerne when I took this shot.
