Hi all, I'm an undergrad student studying electrical engineering and for our senior project we are using a powershot A2000IS camera.
We initially started by installing CHDK on the camera, and then wanted to remove the IR blocking filter inside.
So we took the camera apart, removed the lens, and removed the IR filter from inside. Then put everything back together, and did not have any issues in the process.
However, no the camera refuses to turn on at all. Today I went back and made sure all flex cables were properly installed as well as made sure all the screws were in the right place. It looks like everything is back in its place but still no luck.
Does anyone know of where to start diagnosing a "no power" issue with this camera?
We are using alkaline batteries and they worked fine before we did the IR filter removal.
