I am searching for some advice on the recommended processing order for my photos in Photoshop.
Currently I am processsing in the following order;

1.Image AUTO level corection within Photoshop
2.Image resize (fred miranda resize pro plugin)
3.Image sharpen(fred miranda sharpen plugin)

Followed by upload to Exhibit Engine website and resizing 100% and 50% using ImageMagick with no sharpening.

Is this a reasonable procedure or do some steps need to be changed/modified/change the order?
Any tips much appreciated!

Neil

Auto Levels on everything is rather vicious - it depends where your images are coming from, and what you want done with them as to whether that is the best, or whether something else (Levels set by hand, Curves, or setting things like exposure in Camera Raw - I tend to use the latter as I shoot RAW most of the time).

Sharpening last is correct - the main (or only) sharpening should come at the end of post-processing.

Your order is fine. You'll get better results doing the corrections yourself (rather than relying on auto levels), but the general order is right.
