Eagle Eating Coot (Graphic)

Same bird 2n10 got, but I caught the Saturday show. About the same time of day based on EXIF.I was scoping some gulls and heard it come in over my head from behind. This seems to be a regular routine for this bird, and it's very good at it.

Great set Ken. I saved the blodd and guts for later maybe. LOL. It really had the birds nervous when I was there. It must have a couple of false starts before making the pass I witnessed. I agree it is very good at it. It made some very precision manouvers to capture the Coot.

LOL, I know what you mean. I wasn't expecting it since I heard it had happened yesterday. Definitely fertile hunting grounds with all of the Coots around the Marina.
