It says:
Good morning gentlemen. No price has been announced, and this price which has been floating around the internet for 15 days now is pure speculation on the part of the retailer to generate traffic for its site... and it is obviously working since even certain... (missing rest of post)

I have to admit. I always feel my 35 is a tad short. I'm really thinking the 24 1.4 / sigma 50 art will be a better combo for me.

I have the 35 f/1.4 and I know 35/50 are fairly close, but I'll still buy this. Sigma really got me with the 35. It's such an amazing lens. Hell, I might even buy an 85 ART over the Canon 85 f/1.2. Sigma has REALLY stepped it up. I just hope we do get the $899 price.

I will let you know how that combo works out in April when I get the 50

I saw that earlier today, definitely looks impressive. It's an exciting time to be a photographer. I think we've been at the point for a few years now where there's no such thing as a "bad" body on the new market, if this trend with lenses continues we might be able to say the same thing about lenses in the near future

Right, is it just me or does it look pretty much the same as the Otus? I mean, wow...

Crazy sharp looking, anyone else out there have a 50/85 combo. I already have the siggy 35 but once I switched to FF I found it a bit wide. If I'm shooting wide its normally landscape which I don't really need the crazy fast speed for. This lens is making me consider a 50 for walk around and 85 for studio/portrait shoots. I just don't know if I can swing the 50 this year while saving up for the 70-200 which is a huge gap in my lineup. GAS problems...
