WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK: 398 - Mechanism

Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This weeks the theme is Mechanism. As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

Let's look at how things work...

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between Monday posting and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. OMG, that's too wild. I was taking a pic of the same thing today! I took apart a couple of dead HDs over the break. Here are the heads of one of them.

It was on a piece of paper on the desk in my office. Took the pic with my G12 today.

I have one more mechanical image I want to add for this week, and Andy, if you happen to do that first, that would be too freaky!

Hi Joayne, you pretty much got it. It is a wire fence tightener mechanism. This is one of many on my pasture fence.

Do do a little flyfishing amongst a lot of other outdoor activities. Weather is for the most part pretty nice, if you like snow. I always look forward to winter and snow. Summers are probably our least favorite time of year. To hot and to hectic.
