We have received a crazy amount of snow here in the midwest and it has made for some beautiful scenery. I had scheduled an engagement session for this couple months ago hoping for decent January weather. What we got was the opposite. After conferring with the couple, they were willing to brave the conditions, so out we went. Here's some of what we got.
The client was happy with the results and I am too, based on the circumstances. It was snowing pretty heavily the entire session and I got to test the weather sealing capabilities of both my cameras. I was shooting with a 5dmk3/70-200 f2.8 II and the wife was shooting with a 6D/85mm 1.8. I would shoot a few photos and then cover the camera with my jacket, minimizing exposure to snow. The cameras held up well. I've since ordered rain sleeves so that I don't tempt fate again! C&C welcome!
