The weather in the UK has been immensely wet and a lot of fixtures have been postponed due to waterlogged pitches. Just wondering how you chaps in the US are coping with what we are seeing reported as extreme cold and snow? Keep warm!

Jan 10, 2014 13:28 | #3 I was out shooting in -5F to -12F (-20 to -25C) this past week (birds and general, not sport) and had no problems with my 1Dm3 although I once did break a shutter in a 40D at -7F. I suspect my camera gear temp was probably in the +10F (-10C) range however from sitting in the car overnight. The shutter really gets noisy at those temps "CLACKITY CLACK !", but didn't notice any slowness in auto focus at all. Working with heavy mitts on the hands was the largest obstacle.
