to use for sports photography?

Actually for photo printing in general? I mainly shoot ice hockey and have been using gloss, But wanted to give matte a try.

I have the Canon iP6000D and have been very pleased with it's performance. What would you recommend with this printer?

I like ILFORD pearl matte.
