We've got several interesting spots within 10 or 15 minutes of my office, so I can usually keep an outing short. Unless I find something really interesting.:lol:

Your American Coot may be the best shot of this species I have seen. I have tried so many times to capture a good image of one but never came close to yours. That all black plumage is really difficult to expose correctly. Well done!
