Two of my favorite places to visit. I live 3 and 4 as well. Have you tried to raise the shadows on 3? You might be able to open up a bit more shadow detail.

Thanks everyone. #3 came out so drab that I decided to darken it even more to get that "It was a dark and stormy night..." effect. LOL.

There was actually construction going on at Kiyomizu-dera. I had to photoshop out a lot of scaffolding and a crane!
