Well, I'm going to admit it, I havn't been using RAW as much as I should... :(

But have started now...

One thing that bothers me though, all of the pictures look blurry in bridge, in the preview. If I zoom in to 100% the look sharp. But in preview all raw files look blurry.
This is annoing because when doing a quick selection of which ones to keep and which ones to throw away because for example they are out of focus all of them looks out of focus.

All JPEGs look sharp...

Why is it like this? And can I fix it?

Latest version of PS/Bridge (CC) and Camera Raw.

Sorry for my bad English.

Do you have it set to render "always high quality"? I cull with "fast picture viewer", much quicker than Bridge, but I use Bridge for everything else.

Where do I find that option?

I only find "Generate Monitor-Size Previews"...
(Same problem with both of the settings, (Purged Cache in Between...)

I get that once in a while. Not sure why. Then the next time everything will be sharp. I just think it takes Bridge a long time to render sharply if you have a full card.

I open my raw files in DPP and view them using "quick check" at full screen. I can 'rate' them and mark any to be deleted. When I'm done, I close DPP and I'm given the option to save...select yes.

Now when I view them in Bridge, the ratings are visible and I know which ones to open for further editing and which ones to delete...works great for me at least.

I had this happen again yesterday. Perfectly sharp image showed blurry in Bridge. The loupe image was sharp. Images on either side were previewing sharp. Weird.

Same image looks fine today, btw.

Is your monitor at the native resolution?

Yes it is.

The JPEGS are sharp. The Raw files are not (until you look at them in 100%)...

In theory files are only sharp at 25%, 50%, 100%, though I just tried it and it looks fine at 29.3%, 33.3%, etc.

We need to see what you see to diagnose this further. Post monitor native resolution some screen shots showing it sharp and blurry - say 100%, 25%, and two blurry ones. These will be huge, monitor resolution probably 1920 wide, so you'll need to put them on a web server and link to them.
