Looking for an eyecup to block out sunlight

Hi there,

Can't seem to find this. I shoot outdoors on the ocean 8 hours a day, 3 days per week and am looking for an eyecup to block out sunlight coming in from the sides, I don't wear glasses (though I sometimes have sunglasses on), and I use my left eye.

I've seen the Hoodman one but it's HUGE, and seems more designed for glasses and the right side of the face, and seems to block a good portion of the viewfinder. There's got to be one that isn't so bulky.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

If you're looking to block out sunlight, its going to have to be bulky. How else would it block out the sun? If its small, it won't be blocking anything.

Also, even though it says its for glasses users, it should be fine for non-glasses wearer.

Hoodman # HOHEYE22 or HOHEYE22G (for glasses)
Both fit the 7D. For left eye shooter you just rotate
the rubber 180.

Works great for me on the 60D.

I have the aftermarket version of the Hoodman. Awesome, as I'm sure that one is too. I have a bad habit of loosing them on shoots, so order 3 at a time. hahaha
Good luck with yours, it makes a world of difference for me.

Purchased two of them and one broke just after I put it on .. the little plastic tab broke . Total junk ..

Just got Hoodman's H-EYEC22 for my 5DMKIII. Fits perfectly.

I use the eyeglass Hoodman on my 5DIII. Yeah, its big, but who cares? It helps me see better, with or without glasses.

I care =) Just doesn't work for me. Hope the one I purchased fits the bill!
