Hello.

I just bought 420EX for my G3. And I can't understand - why camera didn't use external flash red light for metering? It still use internal metering!

And why in "P" mode there is no "Flash adjust" option in menu?

hotfrog,

I don't understand you first question about metering.

Re the second question, there is a flash adjust option in P mode. Press the Func button and its the 4th option down the list. Maybe you had the camera in Auto mode, which won't let you adjust the flash.
