Coaching Moment

Picture was taken during warm-ups before a NBL game - coach is a great guy who is always looking to help younger players.

I'm really struggling with how to crop this pictures. Tight, wide, just don't know which way to go. How would you crop it?

It's a bit small to judge crops but I personally would have liked more below the knee in the image. What would it look like cropped in to eliminate the other person dribbling? That is a distraction.

Either way works. Just try to remove the background person...

I don't think either one of those works very well. There's something very odd about both of them. The first one is just a strange crop with the coach butted up against the crop and all the empty space behind the player and the second one is cropped way too high up on the subjects. I don't think the person in the background is distracting at all. You're at a game, people will be dribbling and shooting, etc. It adds to the story you're trying to tell IMO. The first crop you posted is miles better than either of the other two. It should've been shot in portrait but you'll know that next time.
