Canon Price Watch (external link) is reporting the Sigma 30mm price drop at Amazon. Says it's the first major price reduction. It may be time for me to get serious.

30mm Art?

Dude, it's the old non-Art crop-only.

My imagine composition sucks. I need a heavier lens.

It's actually a new 30mm Art, replacing the older one. It's still crop-only though.

Wondering how this 30mm f/1.4 Art on my 7D would compare to a Canon 50mm f/1.4 on my 5D3.
Price slightly less on the 50mm Canon vs the Sigma 30mm Art. I have a feeling the 50/5D3 combo would be better due to the cleaner images at much higher ISOs. Bodies are about the same size and weight.
