Dual Flex tt5 used in close proximity... problems?

I'm considering using two flex tt5's together on a chimera dual speed ring mount in order to use high speed synch on the go. My concern is that with the two flex tt5's being so close to one another they may not perform as intended.

Anyone used two flex tt5s inches away from one another? I plan on using them with 580exii's.

There shouldn't be any issue as I used to use them but I would rather get the dual flash cable and use one flexTT5.

The flashes you are going to use might give you issues - well known flash to give a TT5 issues with various workarounds

Agree. If you get 30 ft from your camera you might get some issues. The TT5s are great until you get to 30 ft, then they start to go ape. YN622's solve the problem.

The Flex TT5s in close proximity to each other is not a problem. But the 580exs in close proximity to either TT5 might be an issue if interfering with reception of the trigger signal. This is more a matter of your triggering distance mentioned above. Shields or cabling the TT5 to the flashes in that case would help.

Can you run a cable from the flex tt5 and still have ttl and manual control (with the AC3 zone controller)?
