Hello everyone!

I'm sitting here wondering which camera would be a good backup houses. I think this:
In the future I would like to try some portrait / landscape but I still want the camera to be used at the game . Good and safe AF is good, I can do without fast fps but good image quality is a must. It would be nice with good iso handling. The big problem now is ... if I know myself so it will not be so much portraits as I might have wished but more landscape could I believe. I want something in between . If I want to shoot beautiful landscape shots and I'll be there and if I want to shoot a beautiful portrait on stationary subjects , birds , etc. I want to have that option available too.

The two options I have found are :

Canon EOS 1D Mark 2 N:
96k exposures ( 200k + spec according to Canon) .
Very nice condition
Cleaned sensor, mirror and focusing screen .
Three batteries , including one brand new at 2300mAh ( genuine Canon has 1600mAh ) .
Charger (NC - E2).
From private person who also have cleaned the camera
$ 330

Canon EOS 5D with BG- E4 ( Original battery grip) :
normal Condition
charger
strap
manual and a spare battery
From a company with 3 months warranty
$ 480

Heya,

You're talking like the camera body does something different for portrait/lanscape, when it's the focal length that really does what you're talking about. The camera body is pretty much your shutter speed (exposure time) and ISO. The lens is aperture and focal length, which contributes to field of view and depth of field.

Any dSLR camera body will do what you are looking for. Just have appropriate lenses and you're good to go.

I would get the new Canon SL1. Handles ISO nicely. Newer DIGIC5 processor. Inexpensive. Makes a great 2nd body because it's small but very powerful.

Very best,

I understand what you mean but in this case the 5D maybe is better for Landscape/Portrait and maybe 1D is better for wildlife. Two cameras can of course do the same thing but the other camera is maybe better in one thing and the other camera is better in another way. I've owned a SL1 for some months ago but my hands was to big for that one
