San Francisco Maru

I guess you can call this a landscape. Photo was taken about 15 years ago just off the deck of the San Francisco Maru, a sunken Japanese WWII freighter in Truk Lagoon. I was at a depth of 150 feet. I spent around 10 minutes taking photos and then 45 min decompressing on the way to the surface. What you see are three tanks and a truck.

Wow, that's impressive. How much total bottom time did you have to require that much decompression, or were you doing multiple dives?

I spent a total of 15 minutes on the bottom. Maximum depth was 185 feet. They didn't have the special gas mixes available back then.
