I searched Google for "iOS apps for photographers" and of course I get a ton of apps for taking pictures or editing on the iPhone/iPad. This is not what I am looking for. What I want to know is, what apps out there for iPhone and iPad make for great companion apps.

I have two that I use now and I am looking for other suggestions:
1) Sun Surveyor - I use this to scope out a location and see the sun position for any time of day and date. It uses Google Maps and I can pull up either map or satellite view and see where the angle of light will be. It works better on the iPad because of the larger screen real-estate.

2) CamRanger - I obviously use this for my CamRanger because the CamRanger doesn't work without it.

Again, I am not looking for apps that take pictures or do photo editing. I have heard of apps that can act as grey cards and even an app that in combination with another piece of hardware will make your iPhone a light meter.

So, what other good tools exist for iPhone and iPad?

Gear: 7D, 5D III, Canon 50 f1.8, Sigma: 15 f2.8 Fish, 24-70 f2.8, 70-200 f2.8, 150-500, 2x teleconverter. Gitzo GT2542L tripod w/ RRS BH-55. Gitzo GN5561T monopod w/ RRS LH-02 head. Several speedlights, modifiers, toys, bags, etc.

I use TPE a fair bit: The Photographer's Ephemeris.
Sounds like Sun Surveyor is similar.

Transfer. It's an app that allows all your devices to transfer jpegs back and forth extremely easily. Laptop, iPhone, ipad, you name it. It's very useable.
