Alveric & DBNissan, no probs, I agree with you both for what it's worth!

How much or how little gear a photographer uses has little bearing on their ability to be "the best" (whatever the hell that is supposed to be anyway)... it is just simply how much gear they choose to use.

I never suggested that a minimal kit was superior to a large one. I'll quote myself so you can read it again:

you don't need a truckload of gear to be the best.

Kevin, please post a picture with the gear inside. This looks like a great case for all lighting gear. And congrats on your purchase!

Here you go Chris (cell phone quality). If I pack more than what I need, then this is what the bag can handle.

Hey Kevin

You have no room to fit a dead body now *L*

Nice pick up. I think you even have room in there for a studio head or your flashes.

That looks like the prefect case case for holding four strobes, power cords, light stands, umbrellas and other knick knacks.

So in total, you have 2 tripods, 3 monopods, 4 light stands and some modifiers. Is that right Kevin?

:) I'll try to never put it down side way at wedding when I do not need to access it as it looks like it is for dead body. I hear you Ed :)
I still have a good space for speedlites and triggers beside my 2nd pair of shoes.

Chris, I have 2 tripods, 2 monopods, 4 light stands and some modifiers, NOT 3 monopods. The last stick is my wannabe Westcott Ice Light LED.

I think the only time that I will bring everything is when I need to shoot photobooth at wedding otherwise some sticks will stay either at home or in the car.

I use a photoflex dual transpac. Works awesome. Padded and it even has wheels so you can wheel it around to different sites.

This is what I have in mine right now:
2x 9.5' light stands
1 86" Parabolic
2 unbrellas
1 qbox
1 monopod
2 Alienbees
Vegabond mini
Gaffer
Bunch of grids
Bunch of cords
Bunch of gels
Bunch of other stuff

QUOTED IMAGE

Best investment I made to carry my lighting setup.
super rugged, the wheels are roller blade wheels which help absorb rough pavement bumps and can be easily replaced.

zippers are superb, i haven't had any blow out issues and mine is stuffed to teh gills.
