So at least for 2014, when I stay in motels and eat out some places, I can enjoy one of my own photos of the Eureka Harbor. One of the first shots with the new Tamron 70-300mm someone gave as part trade on my Sigma 85mm the day before up on Oregon.

Also appreciate the opportunity to break into the Redwood Coast network, considering I live near Portland.

Also included a photo from Avenue of the Giants ... the stump is not dead yet ... note the stems around and stubs. These Coast Redwoods really hang-on one way or another. Shot with the Canon 85mm 1.2

BTW ...

The Arcata (adjacent city) woman here, photographed in old town Eureka, is how I learned of a nearby location from where the harbor photo was taken.

The other woman is her friend, and this is a big stack of logs not far from the natural foods store and Costco in Eureka.

South of the stump photo posted previously, are these little stump houses. Same location as the Shrine drive-through redwoods tree.
