Any 70D users out there?

What is your current opinion on this new camera for sports use?

Dont really know yet
I got it for Christmas after fb season
Most of this years shots were with a borrowed 60D
I havent shot much of anything with the 70d yet
been playing with it to figure it out
I have got to figure out the micro focus and do it
I think from what everyone says that should hepl sports pics
or maybe not if Im to dumb to understand it

Seems like the 70d will be better than the 60d and my old 40D
I just havent shot anything with it

Tried a coupla moon shots epic fail

Im sure the camera is good
user error is my biggest problem

Ill post some pics when I get some taken
right now Im no expert with it

I would like your opinion on your results.

low light sports shooters please chime in
especially fb if you shot that

I bought my 70D in november. So far most of my shots have been of low light indoor basketball(some much lower than others). Most of my shots have been paired with the 70-200 f2.8 mkii. My last sets of pics were shot with the 17-55 f2.8 IS. I'm still an amateur, and learning to adjust in manual mode, but I'm pretty happy with this camera. However, all I have to personally compare it to is the T4i. I'd like to get a hold of the 5D3 to see how big of a difference there is, but that probably won't happen until later this year. In my signature, under the "winfieldpictures" flickr account you'll find an abundance of low light basketball photos with a number of different ISO's and shutter speeds. I'm pretty sure the aperture was set to f2.8 on all of them. All of the photos in the "winfieldpictures" and "chrisnosleep1" accounts were shot with the 70D.

any 70D football threads

I just got the 70 D coming from a t2i it is considerably better ! I shoot hockey in poorly lit rinks and have not even got into what this will do yet .Basically setting it to what I used my t2i at and tweaking from there ,but I am very impressed for far!

Coming from a T1i it is mindblowing.

But, I wish it had all of the focus features of the 7D. I really want AF Point Expansion on it, which it doesn't have. I wish I could get my hands on a 7D to see if it really made as big a difference as I think it might.
