Great shots. Are the shot with a 50mm or 50mm equivalents? If so, it might show just a tad of distortion (eg. nose is bigger). 85mm or higher will give you better, less distorted view IMHO.

Thank you. Yes, 22" beauty dish with a sock on, and a reflector under it. I have done the skin retouching, any notes for improving?

Thanks. I was using the 70-200 lens and I was shooting at all ranges depending on the shot..

No, I was hoping to learn something from you. What was your technique?

Great shots overall. The last image could use some more work though. The skin looks pretty bumpy and rough in the highlight on her right (cam left) cheek

These are all top notch! I especially like the one where she outlined her face with her hands....very original and attractive pose.....I will use that in my next headshot session!

They call it clam shell, you put a light camera top and a reflector under the camera.. the reflector will reduce the shadows as you get it higher..

I agree, should have worked more on the skin on this one :)

Thank you

good job.

to improve .... preserve skin details, clean out baby and stray hair.

check out Natalia Taffarel's work or Pratik Naik's work in retouching.
