Male Snowy Owl - New England

When I first spotted this gorgeous male, I was driving. Another car was approaching quickly and I knew the owl wasn't going to tolerate that.

This image was created in a few seconds and in a hurry. In fact, I guessed the exposure, composed and fired!

Canon 1D MKIV, Canon 800mm L @ f/8, 1/320 sec, ISO 640 in Manual mode. Car window as support.

Thanks!

Outstanding shot. Nicely framed in a very unique setting and the background color accent adds even more interest.

Beautifully done, Maxis, and in a very unusual setting for a Snowy, it looks great. You're a bit out of your home territory!
