Olympic National Park, Washington pt. 1

A few shots from a recent trip to Olympic National Park.

Very nice images, crisp, vibrant.

That last one, at F2, doesn't seem to be at F2 though. Everything is nearly in focus.

I was pretty far away for the branch in the last one, so I was actually focused close to infinity, so even f2 gave me a big DOF. I chose f2 for the vignietting and creamier contrast this lens gives more so than the DOF. The scale is hard to see without a reference, but these trees are HUGE, so I had to back up a lot to get the whole branch in the frame.

I can believe f2...its a dark area

Great shots! Getting lucky with the weather is the key for the Olympic peninsula!

I rented it, for wildlife. The wildlife decided to hide for most of my trip, so I made a point to use it for landscape so I could get my $400 worth. Great lens either way.
