Jan 16, 2014 18:09 | #3 I'm not sure the default, I know on my 6D I changed it so one button push is equivalent to 100% crop. That seems to be the accepted check for sharpness, so it logically follows that would be what I'm interested in. A quick google search should yield some answers. 6D | EF 35 f2 IS | EF 50 f1.4 | EF 85 f1.8 | EF 135 f2.0

At max zoom it was bigger than 1:1 which seemed to be three clicks before the maximum. Elie / אלי

rejay14 Goldmember More info | It's almost impossible to check for sharpness on the 40D's LCD. It's not very sharp itself. The photos on my monitor are WAY sharper than on the camera. 1DX Mark II, 5D Mark IV, 40D,Rebel XT

Not sure how them people way back when did it lol. A7rIII | A7III | 12-24 F4 | 16-35 GM | 28-75 2.8 | 100-400 GM | 12mm 2.8 Fisheye | 35mm 2.8 | 85mm 1.8 | 35A | 85A | 200mm L F2 IS | MC-11

windpig Chopped liver More info | Jan 17, 2014 07:21 | #7 It's all relative. You learn after a while if you hit focus or not. I use to run my picture style with 0 sharpening and I could still tell if I hit focus. Would you like to buy a vowel?

I still get surprises in both directions. I don't delete anything in camera unless something else is wrong with the shot. Bodies: 60D, 6D.
