Haven't posted here in years, figured I would share some shots from the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this evening.

If you haven't been to NAIAS in a few years, this is the year to come back, lots of new displays, cars, and energy to take in!

Good shots. How did you manage to get in without the usual horde of people around?

Thanks!

I work in the industry and get into the private pre-show days.

I usually go a second time with friends and family, but definitely not with the intentions of taking photos!

I don't believe they were, I was also surprised Fiat didn't have a presence there this year. Especially considering their medium term goals in North America!

Hmm yeah, I would have expected Fiat to be in Detroit, esp. considering the Chrysler/Dodge connection.

Fiat was at the LA Auto Show and had a nice presence there, so did Maserati. But no Alfa, not yet. Actually they were supposed to be there but pulled out only a month or so before, IIRC. Hopefully this year (November).

There was no Maserati/Ferrari/Lambo this year either, which was kind of disappointing.

Very nice set. A friend covers it so I'll get some DVD's of his photos eventually.
