Hi all,
I want to upgrade my stuff from a 60D to a Full Frame camera. I want to shoot portrait and landscapes. Should I buy a 6d or a 5d iii? Or should I wait for a 6D with better AF?
please help me...

6D. The 5D3 has zero benefit over the 6D for landscape and potential disadvantages such as no wifi for live view remote control and slightly more ISO noise.
Use the money you save on a better sharper lens, such as the 24-70mm II. Which is a high contrast and sharp lens that makes a perfect landscape lens.

The 6d is a superior camera in the dark and at higher iso.

I took my 24-105/6d outside in the wee early morning and took some amazing shots on the water.

With my 50d, I'd need to turn the shutter speed/iso way up, and then compensate somewhere else. At that point, a flash or wide led would have helped a little bit.

If you are in a controlled environment with multiple lights, flashes, etc, a 60d/50d/6d will all perform the same at 100-400 iso.

For portraits and landscapes, you don't even need an automatic lens.

Because the 100mm is the better lens... ;)

I would've gone for the 100/2 if not for the Samyang 85/1.4. I personally think 100mm is more flattering for portraits than 85mm.

I've heard the 100L macro is a good portrait lens actually.
But the 135L would be my pick in the price range.

The 100 f2 has been a great all-arounder for me--portraits, indoor sports, outdoor sports, candids at events and general journalism coverage. Fast focusing and real sharp.

For about $325 used it is great bang for buck, call it a budget 135L. ;)

60D is a great camera for REACH.

That 1.6x factor + 400L

GOAT set-up.

It has one of the best LCDs of the Canon bodies too.

I shoot portraits with the 100L works great, only complaint is perhaps it is too sharp. (imperfections)

I swapped from a 650D to the 6D and don't feel that I am missing anything over the 5D III for my shooting.
I got another L lens with the cost savings. Win Win.
