Hello! My name is Dave.

I've been interested in photography since an early age when my parents gave me a Canon AE-1 Program SLR for Christmas when I was about 8 years old (this may date me). Back then, 12 exposure rolls seemed to be the norm. I left the camera on Program mode and just shot like that instead of learning how to change shutter speed or aperture.

Over the years, I've had a few point and shoot digital cameras which seemed to be enough for me. I kinda got back into photography a few years ago when a friend of mine asked me to take some glamour pics of her for her portfolio.

Recently, I've switched from Windows to Mac and after looking at our wedding photos using iPhoto and seeing the different settings, I've gotten more interested in photography. I purchased a Rebel T3 (1100D) in November, 2013 and made a New Year's resolution to shoot more. I've also started using Aperture to post-process the photos I take.

You can see the photos I've taken on my Flickr page (link in signature) as well as a list of my gear on Lenstag (link also in signature).
