I have the older USB2.0 transend TS-RDP8W multicard reader. Had it for three years works faultlessly.

No provision for a CF card, guess if I ever get a camera that uses compact flash I'll need to buy one specifically for that media. Canon 60D,18-55mm,55-250mm,50mm compact macro, AF ext tubes. Sigma 8-16mm uwa, 18-250mm, 85mm F1.4, 150-500mm

I,ve never used a card reader - I transfer directly from the camera to the 'puter using EOS Utility. Takes longer but has never failed in seven years, and the USB pins never seem to bend. When did voluptuous become voluminous?

I did this for a very long time. The only reason that I have and use a card reader today is that I was asked to provide a family member with a Christmas wish list a couple of years ago. I had it on my B&H list, but I probably would never have ordered it myself. I use manual exposure settings on the copy machine
