Just wondering if anyone else has experienced any problems with this lens. Mine has suddenly refused to zoom out more than 35mm, it seems like something is getting stuck and preventing if from zooming out to 15mm.

Any ideas on what might be causing this ?

I assume my best bet is to take it to a Canon repair agent.

Thanks

17-85s used to do this a bit - was typically a screw coming loose. It's probably something similar. Which is a good thing as it is likely to be a simple/cheap repair.
