Not sure where to post, but seems we need a thread for us and our pups. Here's my favorite of Glimmerdog and I.

None of which specifically feature images of dogs with their owners.

Exactly. It seems like a good thread with a specific theme not covered yet here.

Some good photos! I recently lost my doggie (Oscar) due to kidney failure, and now I wish I had tried taking more photos of him (going through old ones, have a couple cute ones, and some out of focus ones from when I was testing out my then new 5Dc). When things settle for me, I'll have to adopt a new pup...for now, have my memories, everyone else's condolences of how great Oscar was, and confirmation that one should just have that camera at the ready! Keep them coming!

snapshot of me and Oscar taken a few years ago. My friend was just taking snapshots with a P&S, so not the greatest quality (looks like the shutter is pretty slow and the AF is on my face/ Oscar is blurred)...I have some others that are better of Oscar actually being patient with the camera:

^^ Yeah, davesrose, not enough Dog & I shots. They are really special. Our pup is at the age now where we can't take her out on hikes because it's just too painful on her joints.

Those photos are so expressive of the relationship. The last one really shows a sense of companionship.

Sad to say that she's running without us now, having shared 14.5 years of joy.
Rest in peace, Jada-dog.
