It looks like it has a glass screen that the Lens projects a 35mm image onto and the iphone just takes a picture of the screen. So it would kind of be like taking a picture of a 35mm slide. DOF, etc, should be the same, but I don't know what it does to light and exposure (and noise). Taylor
