It looks like it has a glass screen that the Lens projects a 35mm image onto and the iphone just takes a picture of the screen. So it would kind of be like taking a picture of a 35mm slide. DOF, etc, should be the same, but I don't know what it does to light and exposure (and noise).

ahhh.. thats what i was going to ask... that's a pretty good idea. kudos to them. still not sure how practical this is... hah.. it's kinda like that cyclomatic iPhone panorama app. cool to show off, but it's never going to get used.

My thoughts exactly. It is a neat idea, because there are hundreds of thousands of Iphone users.
I don't know how many in this niche market of owning a good DSLR and good lenses, owning and Iphone, and then wanting to use their Iphone instead of their DSLR body.
