Shooting Nightscapes, especially under the full moon, have become my new favourite activity. Here are 2 from the recent moon.

Who needs sleep anyway!?

A shot looking at (unknown name) mountains across from Lake Minnewanka, Alberta.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

I think it's very interesting to know, in particular about unsual pics like these ones.

Thanks !

No problem!

I'll have to confirm the exif at home when I get onto Lightroom (on a work pc atm)

Off the top of my head, most of the night I was shooting;
Canon 600D/t3i
Ef-s 10-22mm - @ 12mm
Iso - 400
f 3.5
25s

The exposure length could possibly be 30s not 25s but I'll check that at home.

Damien

The mountain really jumps out in moonlight.

Great work; it's fun doing things like that, isn't it? :)
