I'm headed to cedar keys (from Atlanta) next Sunday to catch up on astro photography from a clear dark site. Looking forward to it.

It's not that dark in the main part of town. But if you go west/north, it's dark. The shell mound area is pitch black. Just be aware that there is an airport here, and lots of planes going back and forth in this area. Big air traffic here actually. You'll get lots of streamers, so just time it between flights. I do my favorite astro in cedar key from shell mound. It's technically closed after sunset, but, I go on foot and take my chances.
