I have some other RC papers that are noticeably brighter white than the Matte. Now I know that matte and satin/glossy are two different beasts, but I would really like to get the brightness (and punch and contrast) that the RC papers offer but with the matte finish. .

MarkVuleta Goldmember  More info | Jan 21, 2014 01:31 | #2 I don't know how the brightness compares to the Canon or RC papers but I use Breathing Colors' Optica One and it is a magnificent paper. Colors are quite vibrant on it and Black & Whites are fantastic. It is quite a heavy paper & it takes a bit to flatten it prior to mounting.

For special prints I prefer hahnemuhle William turner or canson BFK rives WOW! A ton of info there - great blog. It will take me longer to digest it than it took you to write.
