Every week we select a new theme, and then go out and shoot that theme. This is week 400!! Show us your favorite subject, something you really like to photograph.. go somewhere you really like, someone you really like.. something you really like.. you get it!! As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

We can make this a two week theme as it might need some planning or extra time.. Try to show us a place, thing, person.. that insprires you to take pictures.. something you keep going back to... It is week 400 after all :cool:

Here are the rules:

1. Shots need to be taken between Monday posting and the following Monday by Sunset (Whenever that is for you ). Because this activity is supposed to encourage us to get out and shoot, please don't post old shots from your archives. Snapshots and art are equally welcome -- just get out & shoot, and then share!

2. Post your shots at any time during the week.

3. Post a maximum of two shots if you're uploading them to POTN (i.e., attaching them). You can post more than two if you're linking to shots that are not hosted by POTN (i.e. embedding them), but keep within POTN rules. Also keep within POTN rules about size. A copy of the size rules can be found here:IMAGE POSTING RULES

That's it! Have fun! . As always be as imaginative/creative as you like when interpreting the theme, creativity is what we're looking for.

An index to previous weeks can be found here:POTN WORLDWIDE PHOTO WEEK INDEX

That's it! Have fun!

I got interested in shooting things and people that happen to be around. These are casual shots with little planning. Lately I've been paying attention to shadows and reflections.

Thanks, joayne. The first shot is into the window of a restaurant and bar that also has windows on the opposite side. You can see into the next street.

The second shot is in a subway car in a tunnel. That's not a TV, it's a window, and the reflections are of other passengers.

Great posts, OhLook.

I enjoy being out in nature. I spent the last two days on our property and in my yard with my camera. This is what I keep going back to.

Thanks! I enjoy being in nature, too, but my territory is much smaller than yours and the wildlife is less diverse. Your trail photo (or dirt road) looks like a nice place for walking.

It's a neat place to walk, I always like being at the bottom of the canyon.

Stina- love the wildlife shots, especially the little hummer in the tree!

Here are some of my favorites from this past week. I've developed an interest in nighttime shots, especially trying to get good shots of the stars. Unfortunately, I have to head out of town to get decent ones. I took a short trip to Jekyll Island earlier this week, and this was my favorite from Driftwood Beach.
(If you look closely, the red light on the left is my other camera shooting a time lapse of the northern sky.)

Here's one from sunrise the next morning

Lastly, my new favorite indulgence is time lapse shots (got a bunch from beach I'm still putting together), but I also wanted to get some from the Atlanta airport. Here's a stack of several images from last night.

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.
