Is it a letter in Braille alphabet ?

You win!

The dots belong to adjacent letters, but that's close enough. I deliberately shot from the side to make the subject harder to identify. I kept this in reserve in case the Super Macro Guessing Game started up again.

So, does this thread have to die because Sophie's Mom never followed up?
How can we get it going again?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Ok, I guess I will! Thanks for inviting me into this thread, OhLook!

Selecting a pic for this thread is not easy.......it needs to be something that offers a challenge, but not something too hard, or the thread will die. Hopefully this image is suitable:

No, of course not.....I said in my post that I wanted to make sure that figuring it out would be a challenge. But I also said that I did not want it to be too difficult.

I think that as far as difficulty goes, OhLook's image in post #60 was just about perfect.........it took 3 days, approximately 10 clues, and several guesses, but someone did get it. That's a heck of a lot better than no one ever getting it and having the thread die, and it's also a lot better than someone guessing it in the first day.

I'll give a couple of clues: this was outside, and intentionally out of focus. Those who have a way to view complete EXIF info will find another clue therein.

EXIF info was easy to find above the image. I didn't find a clue in it. Would the additional info be clue-rich because, for instance, it includes location?

We know you shoot wildlife. I'd guess that this is vegetation near an animal.

You're on the right track......my EXIF does not show location, but it does show another one of the "five W's"

Would that be the When, and would the shot show something seasonal?
