So today Kevan and I ventured out in spite of the huge Nor'easter hitting New York. Same place we photographed eagles in the last week, and I and owl.

Today, not only did we get skunked (not literally), as we saw some huge mature Bald Eagles fly by but behind branches, but the road was incredibly slippery.

Kevan slipped but did not fall.

Alas, I was not as lucky. Badly bruised elbow, forearm, knee, and Ego.

Cognito Ergo Zoom.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear that, hope you're feeling better soon. Lucky you didn't break something. Since I moved south I haven't taken any spills on ice, it's my own feet I have to worry about.

My sincerest apologies go out to the entire POTN membership for not catching MDJAK's less than graceful spill. Let this be a lesson to us all...a camera left in its bag is like having no camera at all.

Be careful out there, the nice fluffy snow has now turned to ice. I was hoping to go to the same park this weekend, but alas we just cant get a break. Another storm is scheduled to arrive this Saturday.
