How about a game of who's lying (about specs)?

I'll start off with two of mine:

Red corner: Slik Pro 800
- Load Capacity: 11 lb (4.98 kg)
- Height: 4.7" (11.9 cm)
- Weight: 1.68 lb (0.76 kg)

Blue corner: Benro B1
- Load Capacity: 26.4 lbs (12 kg)
- Height: 3.5" (90mm)
- Weight: 14.1 oz (400 g)

If I take a picture of the two next to each other and post it here, it'd be quite funny since one just dwarfs the other.

Red Vs Blue, which one would you vote for? Go!

PS: If you pick one from the other, feel free to share the reason behind it.

I would say Benro is over rating the load Capacity, but as long as it's heavy enough
to handle your Camera and lenses, I would take it over the Slik, because the Slik
has an odd camera plate on the quick release.

As with tripod legs, weight capacity is up to interpretation. The weight it can keep adequately stable is much less than the weight that will break the unit. The intended focal length you need is also a factor.

^ Lester Bogen never claimed weight capacity of 150-200lb for any of the Manfrotto-made tripods which he marketed in North America under the Bogen brand.
